Salawat given to Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (May Allah Almighty be please with him) by Holy Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallim).
Bismillah Irahma Nirraheem
Allahumma Salli alaa Muhammadin wa alaa aali Muhammdin fil-awwaleena wal-aakhireena wa fil mala-il-aalaa ilaa yaumiddeen.
Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddqi (May Allah Almighty be please with him) narrates that he asked the Holy Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallim) ” O Messenger of Allah! tell us which Durood we should read on you as Allah orders us to recite Duroods blessings upon you?” Holy Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallim) answered ” Recite this one.”
Again, Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (May Allah Almighty be please with him) repeated ” O Messenger of Allah! Inform us about the virtues of sending this Durood. ”
Holy Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallim) replied, ” If all seas are made of ink, trees are made pens and all angels start to write the virtues of this Durood, the ink will dry, the pens will be broken and the angels will be exhausted but even they would not be able to complete the virtues of this Durood, Allah Himself writes the virtues of this particular Durood! “
